About Tidegrain

Landscape, brought closer.

Tidegrain began in 2016 with an interest in geometric forms and the textures of landscape. Alongside these early explorations, the studio began studying traditional Chinese embroidery.

Since then, the work has taken many forms: wave-inspired installations, decorative paintings, carved wooden wall pieces and landscape embroidery. Across these different media, mountains and water have remained a common thread.

Our approach is rooted in close observation — the curve of a wave, the contours of a mountain, the way texture catches the light. We bring these details into works that invite a closer look, with a sense of nature’s rhythm and warmth.

Today, that exploration continues through wood, thread, colour and relief. The idea is simple: to bring something of the landscape closer to everyday life.
